Debbie was an existing customer of Vista Auto Group who'd bought a vehicle from the dealership a few years back. Recently, she brought that car in for service and met Josh.
She was a Sheet Metal Worker until she lost her job due to the economic downturn. Debbie now is in school trying to earn her Nursing degree. She did not have the $1,200 that it would cost to fix her vehicle. A working vehicle is necessary to the health of her child. Debbie has a 14-year old son that must be taken to Shriner's Hospital in Salt Lake City once a month for treatment of Spina Bifida.
"I live in this community, as do all of the employees at Vista, a lot of people have been affected by this economy and its up to their neighbors to help them. The General Manager, Steve Rossi, and myself agreed to cover the cost to fix Debbie's car" said Mr. Appleton.
Many people thought that Vista Auto Group had closed last spring when the group moved to a new and larger location around the corner. Vista's move coincided with a time when many domestic car dealers were closing their doors. Appleton said, "Our community is important to us and our families, the stronger each of us is individually, the stronger we are together".
